Kakshlink Pvt. Ltd. ("Kakshlink", "we", "us", or "our") is the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit this website, submit a contact or quote request, or engage us for a project.

2. Information We Collect

Contact Form

When you use our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, subject and message.

Get a Quote Form

When you request a quote, we additionally collect your phone number, company name, the service you're interested in, your estimated budget, timeline, and project details — so we can scope and price your request accurately.

Automatically Collected Information

Our hosting provider and the third-party services listed below may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

This website relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google reCAPTCHA — protects our contact and quote forms from spam. It analyzes visitor interactions and may send your IP address and device information to Google. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Google Maps — embedded on our Contact page to show our office location.
  • Google Fonts — used to load the typefaces on this site.
  • Google AdSense — displays advertisements on our blog; see Cookies below.

Our website itself is hosted by Hostinger, who processes standard server-level technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) as our hosting provider in order to serve the site to you. Some of the services above (such as Google Fonts and Google Maps) are based outside India, so limited technical data (such as your IP address, sent automatically by your browser when it requests a font or a map tile) may be processed on servers outside India as part of normal internet operation.

5. How Your Form Submissions Are Handled & Retention

Messages submitted through our Contact and Get a Quote forms are sent directly to our team by email and are not stored in a database on our website — our server only relays the message and does not keep a copy. Once in our email inbox, submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to and manage your inquiry.

Exact retention period: OWNER ACTION REQUIRED — Kakshlink has not yet documented a fixed retention/deletion period for historical inquiry emails. Until this is configured, submissions are retained in line with ordinary business email record-keeping and are deleted on request (see Section 9).

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We only share it:

  • With your explicit consent
  • To comply with legal requirements or court orders
  • With service providers who help us operate our business (such as our email delivery provider), under confidentiality obligations

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We do not set any cookies of our own, and no first-party tracking script runs on this site. All cookies encountered here are set by the third-party services above: Google reCAPTCHA (contact/quote forms), and Google AdSense/DoubleClick (blog pages only). Third-party services embedded on certain pages may set their own cookies as described in their respective policies. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or visit www.aboutads.info to opt out of third-party vendor cookies used for personalized advertising.

9. Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent, where consent is the basis for processing (withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out)
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
  • Lodge a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India

To exercise any of these rights, use our Privacy Request form or contact us using the details in Section 11.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected a child's personal data without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

11. Grievance Redressal

If you have a grievance about how we've handled your personal data, you may raise it via our Privacy Request form or by emailing info@kakshlink.com. We aim to acknowledge and resolve grievances within a reasonable time. A formally designated Grievance Officer has not yet been named — OWNER ACTION REQUIRED. Until one is designated, grievances are handled by our general contact channel above.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date and version number.
